We serve with others in the local community and in missions around the world.
Jesus told his disciples: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
Many of our members are actively involved in a variety of ministries throughout the Indianapolis community and beyond. Public evangelism and participation in prison ministry are some practical avenues for reaching the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Other local ministries we partner with include:
- Shepherd Community
- Wheeler Mission
- The Reformation Society of Indiana
- Public Servants Prayer Ministry
- Bible Study Fellowship
- Heart Change Ministries
- Indiana Biblical Counseling Center
- Charles Simeon Trust Expositional Workshop
- Westminster Evangelistic Ministries
Our members’ involvement with these organizations take us to the homeless on the streets of downtown Indianapolis, to pastors ministering in their respective congregations, and to our state political leaders serving in public office. We encourage the saints to make the most of every opportunity to minister in the name of Jesus Christ in our community through these kinds of ministries and partnerships.
God has given us a great heart for the world as well. In recent years, the Lord has given us the privilege of sending members laboring with Reformed Presbyterian Global Missions, short-term teams through RP Missions, and other mission agencies to the Far East, Uganda, Sudan, Liberia, Germany, Taiwan, El Salvador, Nepal, India, and beyond. Those who do not go invest in these ministries through prayer and financial giving.
